Sorry, not selling as complete bike now as I need some of the parts. Will relist what I want to sell when I get sorted on new frame etc. Dibs may be already taken on the 1" threadless forks though.

What is this "Twonning" you speak of ? wink.gif

for some reason i really like the look of that, how big is the frame?

Judging by the angle of the seat tube relative to the circumference of the wheel and applying montage's theory of bike sizing I reckon the Seat tube is 600mm CtoTop and 580mm CtoC, top tube is 570mm actual and effective with a wheelbase of 1040mm.

yes, it would, there's a ton of seatpost inside the frame, if I remember right you're all legs

Seriously, it fits me and was fine as my 3 speed runaround, after much sodding about, including mushing some internal bits by mistake  I finally got my 3 speed hub respaced to fit in the Surly frame, which is my new all purpose run around. so that left this bike with no rear wheel and I had the SRAM 9 speed rear wheel from the Surly going spare. This frame was 126mm OLD and the SRAM is 135mm and I felt brave so tried the Sheldon respacing...piece of cake and hence complete bike for sale.

Andy, you're welcome to pop round and try it out, I have various stems we could use to tune the fit. I can also fit full guards but it's a bit of a squeeze at the back with the big M+ tyres. It works but you don't have as much space as I'd like. You could even run it with drop bars(I don't have any spare right now) if you want, you'd need one v-brake drop bar lever and one normal lever. I've got an adaptor that fits in the end of a drop bar to allow you to fit the twist grip shifter.

If you followed my original builds you'll know how much this all cost and the frame itself is the only cheap bit. The other parts could also be married with a better frame at a future point if you wanted.

Did you use a piece of wood as a lever? I used a beer and brute force in the end!

I've got a couple of sets of old drops kicking about - can donate, gratis, if it helps.

cheers 3BM, nope, I had the bit of 4x2 and was looking at the frame upside down and thought I'd just give it a bit of welly by hand first. No need for 4x2  I got 3mm from my first pull/push and the rest second time round. Though I will admit to sheer blind luck that I happened to hit spot on 135mm, there was no science involved here.

I'm good at the big stuff, but compare that to my attempt to put a couple of spacing washers on the SRF3 hub. I've now spent £15 on new parts to replace the ones I broke
