Sounds much bigger than Fuentes, which means it'll have to be a much bigger cover-up.

The article gives the impression the drugs were targeted at the non-professional user, but let's see what else comes out...

My guess is that the traficking price went up after the Fuentes ruling... so somebody demanded more (bribe) money and didn't get it.
And since the Spanish justice could use a "nicer spotlight", they put an example for the others ... "Pay up or we're going to bust you"

To be honest, I might not have a fully objective opinion about Spanish (and Italian for that matter) court... but hey, this is the internet, objectivity doesn't have a place here, right?
