Just wanted to say that I had my first MTB experience yesterday. I took my old beater of a MTB to the blue courses in Dalbeatie. Absolutely loved it. Away to do some research on which MTB to invest in so I can do it a lot more often!

Can't think of anything better than having a good run out on the mtb

I was up there on Jubilee weekend awesome ride. I also went to Newcastleton - brilliant!

Like I say, very new to me. Had an old mountain bike which didn't stand up well so on look for a new one. something like the revolution ascent pro or the b'twin 8.1 (2011)

We use Newcastleton to keep our fitness up in winter! Some good riding in the lakes to natural stuff.

Was wondering whether you'd been able to ride or whether you'd been washed out. Was half expecting a report and a review!

I like Dalbeattie very much. Cubette really loved the red/blue mix. Kirroughtree red is awesome, will be there in the summer on the new bike.

Stop in one of them wooden pods!! Bob nothing better that blasting round the trails have fun fella!

There are a group of us from Halifax/Huddersfield at the end of August and staying near Dalbeattie .... Done Dalbeattie and Kirroughtree before ... love Kirroughtree

This time we are planning Black Kirroughtree, Dalbeattie Red, Mabie and Ae Reds too .... really looking forward to it
