700c Tires on Mtn Bike

Would it be possible to fit 700x47 or 700x50 tires on my mountain bike ?

These are the current specs
Rim 29x1.75
Inner tube 29x1.95
Current tire 29x2.20

It seems like that's the outer rim width? It's the inner width that matters. See this chart.

if you want road like tyres you can get them in 29 anyway

Looks like the internal width is 20mm so 700C x 47 or 50 will be fine

You could even go down to 28mm so long as the tyre is wider than the rim externally.
