700c hybrid front wheel replacement

My MIL crashed her Probike hybrid and needs a new front wheel. It's 700c but has wider rims than my roadbike.

Can anyone recommend a sturdy, budget replacement?

No personal experience but with 2 year warranty for £25 this has to be hard to beat. Depends on how far you are from one of course.

I stuck an aluminium rear wheel from Decathlon on my hybrid after several out-of-true incidences with the supplied one. Never had a problem with the wheel since. Pretty sturdy too as I use a rack and panniers a lot. I think it was nearer to £30 but worth it. Gez

Will that Decathlon wheel take a 25 mm tyre? Thanks.

Can't be sure about the width that the wheel would suit. I only use 35mm Schwalbes but I can't see a thinner tyre being a problem.

Decathlon sells different sets of wheels, I suspect the lighter (single wall) one will take 25mm tyres. If there is one near you why not call or go see?
