1 week till I do my first 100 in the Action Medical York 100.
Been cycling just over 3 months, longest so far 86 miles, done about 180 a week for last month, speed increasing, can do 10 mile lap with club at nearly 20 mph now.
Hoping for 6 hours ish, looks quite flat compared to what I'm used to. Will start steady, hope to tag on to a group, and make sure I feed / hydrate as I have done in training.
Will do about 60 on Sunday, then step it down during the week, 30, tues, 40 weds, 20 quick thurs maybe have 10 miles on Friday and Saturday off?
Hope new shoes get comfy by then,
