6800 chainset

does anyone know or have an opinion on whether an 11 speed ultegra 6800 chainset will work with my 6700 10 speed chain. also I'm planning on getting the 52/36 tooth chainset and wondered if the standard front mech would be compatible. TIA

if just the chainset then should be fine, if was rear mech etc then im doubtful

I would say yes ... With a bit of tweaking done to the front mec..
