Well done! That 1st ton is a great one to get under the belt, isn't it!? We probably saw each other at some point on the route.
Wasn't that gentle Northerly headwind fun for the first 35/40 miles

I know!! When I got up on the coast this morning I looked out expecting the clear blue skies as forecast....and saw dirty grey mist, everywhere!! So although the wind was annoying, if it blew the cloud away then I suppose it's a fair price to pay....maybe lol!

The sun burst out just as a mate and I were finishing at about 14:15, I think. At least I got to drink my free beer in the sunshine!
