hi, just joined this site, and at work they are doing a promotion through "cyclesoloutions" where we get 50% off bikes, clothing, bells, lights..everything to do with bikes really.
plus we pay it through our wage at a very low payment a week, mine is £1 a week for an altura jacket,pants,gloves and lights.
cyclesoloutions work through "tredz" cycle shop and "wheelies" cycle shop, i work for the local council and this deal is great, go to the cyclesoloutions website formoredetails, its a great way to get youstarted in the cycling or upgrade your current equipment.
i aint promoting cycle soloutions, but if i can help other cyclists get good deals on stuff then i will put it forward.
have a read of their website and see if your workplace can join the scheme, or they might be already in it and you dont know.

My employer runs the same scheme & if it wasn't for them making it so easy to buy a new bike, I wouldn't have so many now

Hi Mik, welcome to the forum. This sounds like the 'Cycle to Work' scheme, run by a lot of providers of whom Cycle Solutions are just one; companies can also administer it themselves direct. And yes, it's great - I'm riding a new commuter bought through Cycle to Work.
