What is the best length of Presta valve to buy? I don't have aero wheels on my road bike; just the standard wheels the bike came with. I have a BMC Team Machine SLR03. Pic of the wheel attached

my track pump likes a bit of valve to bite on, so i always get 48 if i can…

Not certain but the OE wheels seem to be RS010s which are not deep so 40s would be fine with room for the deepest pump head to fit on securely.
For assurance, perhaps the OP could measure the length of the valve on one of the tubes they have in use and judge it from there.

What’s on there at the moment? As above. If you’re fine with that, just get the same. You'll obviously need to remove the tyre and pull the valve out to check. Good to refit a tube and tyre at home at leisure rather than in anger by the side of the road in case you’ve got a super tight wheel rim tyre combo
