Well the preparation wasn't perfect, A McDonalds Tea last night, followed by a bottle of Wine (or 2 )
A late night and up at 04:30 with the youngest - Met up with @Martin Archer at 08:30 and we set off to Ripponden, through Rochdale, a slight detour around Hollingworth lake then over the tops to Ripponden. This was a very long climb. But we made it! Martin a little easier than me! into Ripponden then turned round and come back. It was harder coming back! i nearly run out of gas. but a great ride non the less and a huge achievement for me! so cheers Martin, i would of turned back if i was on my own!
So a lesson learnt, Prepare better next run out!

well done gaz:thumbsup:

Well done Gaz. It probably wasnt the best route to take you on for your first 30 miles. You did well with the big tyres you have on that bike! Give it a few more months and you will be wanting to do a 50.
Still saddle sore?
