3-speed hub sprocket compatability

I know that Sachs and SRAM 3-speed hub sprockets are interchangeable - they're basically the same thing.

I also know that you can swap Shimano and Sturmey Archer sprockets over, but can you put a Sturmey Archer sprocket on a SRAM hub?

Thanks for that - I've just bought a rather heavy Batavus with 3-speed SRAM gears. I've also got a 22-tooth S&A sprocket, I'll put it on as soon as I work out how to get the back wheel off!
