27.5 mtb slicks anywhere ?

I have a boardman mtb with knobblies, trying my best to find some slicks, but everywhere im trying has them for 26 and 29 inch, soon as i mention my wheels are 27.5 oooooh sorry mate, we dont have any, blahdy blahdy blah ! Anyone else have this problem, oh and the bay of E cant find any on there either!

What boardman do you have , i cant say i have ever heard of 27.5 wheels .Not that i do not believe you .
What size is written on the tyre ?

27.5/650B same difference

I'm wondering the same, can get ice spike 27.5's but not something that resembles a slick :sad:

Ah, the great new standards rip off bites again. I'll bet your bike doesn't have rack eyes either........

In other news, I can't find any 23 x 700c aggressive mud and rock tyres for my road bike.

??? Whats the crack with this? In other news i have got panniers on !

Continental Grand Prix comes in 650 x 23mm, worth a look?
Probably no good.

There's a 650c (not B) tyre size that is incompatible, normally only available in 23 mm, and which used to be popular on the front wheel of triathlon or time trial bikes, but is mostly for bikes for small people now.

Any suitable tyres that aren't aimed at mountain bikers will be called 650B tyres. There are some very fast slicks available, such as the Grand Bois Hetre
