26x1.5 replacement

I have an 80s Cannondale mountain bike fitted with Araya 26x1.5 wheels and 26x1.75 tyres. Bike has cantilever brakes & QR.
I want to replace the front wheel as it's wearing thin but want to keep the Kevlar tyres as they are hardly worn.
Cannot seem to find 26 "x 1.5" wide wheels.
Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement?

26" x 1.5" wide rims will have an inner rim width of about 29mm. So you're looking for 650b wheels which are (ETRTO system of designation) 584-29 (but 25-33 will do). Your rims might have figures like that on them. NB rim brake and QR axle.

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry but I'm confused.
Tried searching for "650b wheel 584-29" and got 27.5" wheels.
Both my bikes are old and imperial measurements so not come across ETRTO before
What should I be looking for?

I may be wrong - 559 maybe.

It turned out to be simple - my local bike shop supplied 26x1.75 wheels
