26" commuting tyres with good puncture proofing?

I'd like to get my 26" wheel bike - used for commuting and non-rough trails - up to the same standard of puncture protection that the Schwable M+ affords my 700C tourer. I like Schwable on my tourer mainly for the thickness of the cross-section where the tyre meets the road - have been puncture-free for almost a year - but I'm open to suggestions for other brands.

Any recommendations please?

Size-wise, looking at 26 x 1.5ish, by the way.

I may be silly here but if you're looking for a tyre with Smart Guard how about Schwable M+, they can be had for £25 ea at CRC?
