24 hours 2 Le Mans is a brand new cycling challenge set for June 2016 in aid of The Sick Children’s Trust. We’re inviting cyclists from the UK and beyond to test their endurance and ride from The Royal London Hospital, East London to the Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans – in just 24 hours.
Our cyclists will be aided by a comprehensive support crew; including both mechanical and medical support (including sports physio/massage). The route will take in beautiful English and French countryside, albeit at a blur. The ride will finish at the world famous Circuit de la Sarthe; home of the 24 Heures du Mans just a couple of days before the race itself.
This ride will be challenging and should appeal to all with a reasonable level of fitness/endurance, but most importantly those with a sense of adventure. For the petrolheads amongst you, finishing at one of the World's most prestigious should be the icing on the cake! Who knows, there may even be some surprises in store on that front...
* We are unable to confirm the date of the ride at this juncture as the organisers of the 24 Heures du Mans do not release the race dates until later in the year. Our expectation at this stage is that we will depart London on Sunday 5th June 2016, returning on Tuesday 7th June 2016.
