I would have thought it would be a bit on the big side for you.

Itching to get back on my bike's
Location

this is a difficult question , i am 5ft 10" and i ride a 21 1/2 single speed bike and feel really comfortable also have a 22 3/4 touring bike again lovelly and then i also have a huge 24" frmaed racer that also is lovelly and comfy , the only differance is the amount of clearance between wotsits and top bar

You'd probably get away with it if it has a sloping top tube. There's awlays ajustments than can be made on crank length, seat post and handlebar stem, but standover height can't be adjusted.

The older style geometry with the horizintal top tube may seriously damage your prospects of fatherhood.

I'm 6 1" with 32 inch inside leg and ride a 58cm frame.

+1 I had a 23" frame before through inexperience  it was too large for me (I'm 5 foot 9). IMC it seemed to cause me knee problems (although that might of been the cheap suspension seat post it had). Even whe I had my saddle adjusted all the way to the front my knee was still too far behind the BB for my liking. All my current bikes are 54 and 55 cms (circa 21.5 inch) as well as being more comfortable they also feel better to control.

Probably too big - the main problem is that the top tube is usually in corresponding proportion to the seat tube and this will mean that you will be reaching for the bars. You could add on a shorter stem but this only helps a little bit.

Yes, if you have short legs and a long torso. (Lower the saddle.)

No, if you have long legs and a short torso. (Even with a short stem, you will be too stretched out.)

Otherwise, maybe, but most likely not! (I am 6' 1", 32.5" inside leg, and I ride 58 cm bikes = 22.83 inches)
