For sale:
A Gents 21.5" (55 cm) Raleigh Randonneur.
Pretty sure it's @ 1990.
Shimano Deore group set.
7 Speed triple.
Bar end shifter version. With indexed gearing.
Shimano Canti brakes.
Period wheels. Mavic Module 3 CD - 700c.
Paint touched up in places particularly on the top tube but no rust or dents.
In dark metallic Grey with off white head tube.
Really is a very smooth ride.
Raleigh Randonneur touring of the second series which this is were widely regarded and justifiably so for being one of the best off-the-peg touring frames available at the time.
I have today, fitted brand new Schwalbe Marathon 700 x 32c Greenguard tyres. I wasn't prepared to let it go with the ones which were on it as they were too dangerous to ride with.
I have also fitted mudguards that accommodate 32c and larger tyres. The original SKS ones which are in lovely condition will also come with it on sale.
