These have been used on roads, the worst they've been on is the Great Glen Way.
The bike they've been taken is used for light touring duty that involves dirt track.

Tiny bit of paint missing from where qr lever fastens and the tiny 2mm hose clip on the brace has come out but I used a zip tie anyway. I do have a new one but it will need to be thread locked in place. There's a couple of light rubs that would polish out if you really wanted too.
