The 2009 LED Bike Lights Review is now live at last. I have posted a link to the reviews in past years and people seem to like them, so here is this years.

It came a wee bit to late for me as I gave the credit card a battering just before Christmas (the bill arrived today) and bought some new lights... same the Ay-up came out better in the review, but I have no regrets, I still think I bought a great set of lights.

I think this one is better, much better, and more so because I know the people involved:

As a review I didn't think it was very good, the advantage to the gearreview.com review is that James Sharp have been writing it for four years now and he is very constant in his style, also he uses the same set up each year for the beam shots so you can compare the new lights with those from previous years. I don't know any of the people carrying out the review so have no bias in that way.

That Lupine Betty looks good.

Edit I've just googled it at £550-700 it ought to be

The Lupine Betty is a fantastic light, I was a wee bit disappointed that Lupine haven't up graded it this year, but then again how do you upgrade a 22w(22w!), 7 (seven!) LED light that pumps out 1400 lumens??

I was impressed by the Lupine Tesla 4, Ok so it only has half the light output but it is more affordable. Having recently started using a 400 lumen front light I would say that is enough to may drivers take notice. More than that and airline pilots start to take notice...
