I've always been a fan of older steel machines and my only experience aluminium bikes was a an early 90's Alan which I found quite harsh.
I'm tempted to have a shot at this but would be very interested in any opinions. I'm now only a "leisure" cyclist, 30 miles a couple of times a week as my long term illness slowly gets better.
I can have a quick ride round the block on it tomorrow but that wont be enough I think, to asses its comfort ( or otherwise over longer distances.
