I'd like to see a pic of the camera itself n helmet or whatever, the previous models have all looked too clunky for my tastes

IIRC the 5k is slightly bigger than the 3k due to the LCD screen - its bad enough with the 3k on my helmet (oo-er)

Why not try to counter balance the other side ?
Just a thought
Merry Christmas.

You can do that, but you still get the problem of when you turn your head sharply the helmet spins out of position. ;)

Maybe when Santa has been, and my wife lets me open my ACT5K, I will have the same learning curve to endure. Having an ICE Q Trike, I will try and mount it on the rack behind me, I saw on YouTube of a Trikaholic with it fitted in this fashion, It does give a good view if mounted slightly to one side.

Tynan,

Have a look at this. This should be better than the POV.1 for about the same price (remember we have 10% off at dogcamsport).

I've got the HQ1 camera and I record onto a Archos and my videos are pretty good quality. This is a newer camera (better night time capabilities) and a much better recorder (records at full DVD resolution).

If I had the money, I'd be going for this new system.

Nice! Might I suggest you point the camera down a bit? That will help it get better exposure for the road, rather than the sky.

Thanks for the tip. I think I tilted it down slightly for the last shots and they seem to have come out better.

Thanks again for the tip I've angled it much further down and get much better exposure in my latest Christmas & Boxing Day vids.

And Cheers to Cullin too, switching off the screen means I get the whole of the sd card without the batteries failing and I hope you're enjoying your 5K too.
