Managed the first week without cycling this year! And felt guilty as sin....
So dusted off the bike and went for a 'usual' 21 mile run. Slightly slower than 6 or 7 weeks ago - last ride - and my God did it hurt!!!
How damn quickly do you lose any semblance of fitness? I am aching and suffering considerably sitting here typing this

Think a Turbo Trainer next year is definitely in order if I have any hope of managing what I want to do!
