Bought as an eBay impulse a few years ago as a barn find; it had been coated in old engine oil and stored by the previous owner. When I got it, it was filthy and both derailleurs were scrap, the wheels were different sizes and both were absolutely shot and the bottom bracket had disintegrated. I cleaned it and really liked the patina, so I 'polished' it with an oily rag and built it up into a singlespeed, mostly with bits from the shed. It was initially fitted with inverted North Road bars, which looked very cool but were uncomfortable on any ride longer than 20k or so, so I went back to drops. And yes, it does now have a black saddle to match the bar tape!

Made a lovely job of that. Always appreciate seeing a naturally aged frame.
