Hello to all, I’m looking for a rear rim for this testing, the Schwinn script is written on the front hub so I’m guessing it is also written/stamped on the rear also, the freewheel is not needed but would be nice, tire size is 27x1/4. Serial number is J546026, the decals are no longer on the frame, only the oval head badge is left, guessing the color is Sierra brown, let me know, tks!

Likelihood of finding a new 27” rim is pretty small so I suggest you go looking for a donor bike. Failing that seek out a cycle coop that may have some suitable hoops.

Are you sure that front wheel is OE? The LF QR hub looks a bit incongruous with a swagged one piece chainset, but I'm not too well up on Schwinn. My 90s Traveler came with Sun aluminium made in USA rims.

2 pics added of the Schwinn logo on crank and front hub, the rear had the same stamping but the rim was cracked. The front is also stamped 2-73. I dated this bike with the serial# that dates it from November 1975
