SWMBO is usually wonderful. But she's seen an accumulating pile of frames and stated "are these going for scrap?" The context being I'm in trouble.
The damaged Woodrup frameset's gone, but at least it'll be repaired by @Illaveago . I'm keeping the recently-acquired Raleigh SBDU 653 frameset plus son no. 2's old PanetX Nanolight. Also, I've a frameset that I'm getting re-done for someone, so that can't be moved on.
That leaves me this one; a 1955/6 Carlton that I picked up in December along with a load of parts. It was originally a 5-speed and I've the original Campagnolo shifter if you'd like that as well as I've got it unseized. There's only one mount for gears for information. The frame number is E5888 which dates it probably at early 1956 according to here: https://web.archive.org/web/20130926131646/http://www.carltoncycles.me.uk/details/dating.htm .
Probably needs a re-spray, or could be used as is if you like the original look, and currently has a stuck RH bottom bracket cup that I wasn't able to remove yesterday, even with a strong man and his special tool.
It'll not fit me so I'm putting it on here before eBay. Asking £10 and if needed I can find some sort of box to put it in for posting, which would be an extra £10 or so. Collection's preferred however, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF12. I can also get it to Lincoln / Nottingham if that'd help.
And this is what's seized:
