I am looking for an affordable source for 1930s style rear wheel wing nuts for a Hercules.
I was lucky enough to get a NOS set for the front wheel but have been unable to find rear ones like 1930s ones that don't cost nearly as much as I paid for the bike. Don't really want to put later style ones on as they are still about £20 and don't look right. I suppose if worst come to worst I can use some standard nuts with the same thread.
The rear hub is also still seized in spite of two months of having light oil dripped into it. Wondering if its time for penetrating oil.
