16 y/o daughter has some swollen red and painfull toes, any thoughts?

Hi, is there a doctor on the board?

16 y/o daughter has a few reddish swollen toes, one of which has a slightly itchy patch.
We're gonna try and get her to the docs tomorrow if we can.
I suspect over the last week they've been colder (maybe almost froze) and damper than she'll admit to what with 16 y/o girls preferring fashion over practicallity.

Any thoughts/knowledge/experience?

Crackle, I think you're right.
The symptoms and pictures on the web match. As she's had wet cold shoes it's no surprise she's got them... like her dad, she'll learn the hard way...
