14 inch tyres

Son's third birthday next week. Managed to pick up a second hand islabikes cnoc 14 for £175 in decent enough condition. The rear tyre was replaced at some point for an eBay special and the asymmetry bothers me.

Does anyone have recommendations for replacement 14 inch tyres? I see I can get them from islabikes for £17 each but wondered if there was a better alternative. Nursery is across the park so will be muddy from next month.

You can get them eBay from about a tenner but I can't see what's wrong with the fitted rear tyre.

It's 100% the "adult" who spent today truing the wheels, reblacking any scratches and using car polish on the frame!

Maybe some guilt on going second hand even though it's much more sensible?
