1,000 miles.

[Over The Hill]

Just looked at my ride records and I have ridden 1,000 miles so far this year.

I know lots of you will do that before breakfast but I only got on a bike last year and in between work commitments, family and all other demands of life I am pleased that I have got to this little milestone.

Next aim is to keep cycling all through the winter as I hid from my bike from November to March last winter.

Well Done ... I like those moments ... I did my 1000th mile yesterday, on a bike I bought earlier this year. I stopped took a photo of the bike computer, and of the location. But I did feel a bit silly. But I did the same earlier in the year when the other bike did 1000 too.

Nice one... I remember posting last yr in Nov how I'd reached 1,000 miles for the year, and I was reet chuffed. This yr (not to take the wind out of yer sails, you understand) I'm 40 miles off 2,000
Having to take a while off the bike though, thanks to problem with hand, but shouldn't be too long!
Keep it up, anyway, as someone ^^ said, it's far more than most of Joe Public!

Well done mate. Again, I'm not in the same league as a lot of others but managed to hit a 1000 miles in July. I started commuting by bike in March and should hit 1500 miles next week It does feel good when you reach these milestones.

Must keep it going now through the winter to make sure I hit 2000 by my 1yr anniversary.

My tourer has done nearly 2000 miles in the last year, which is the most I've ever done in one year on one bike ever...and the roadie has prob done 1000 odd too. It's all gone a bit keen all of a sudden...
