For my birthday I thought I'd like to go on the Llangollen Railway. This was a first for me despite it only being about 30 miles from home. I thought it was great when our engine was 1501 which is usually resident on the Severn Valley Railway and has a special significance for me, but unfortunately she let us down with a failure of both injectors which meant much longer on the train than I'd ever imagined.
