Since I am bored and its 3:40am! Anyone here interested in Automotive world? other than your 2 Wheeled peddle Pride and Joy, what other lumps of metal do you have sitting in the Drive! Feel Free to share (maybe even some pics!)

Nothing special a Skoda Superb. (Aka, everyone thinks your a Taxi, even had 2 drunk guys get into it once when me and the dad were parked in Glasgow dropping off my Brother)

After 45 mins of trying to figure out Itunes I got pictures off my phone of the 6 series! You'd think that the alloys are black, but they are Silver. Just not been cleaned it yonks lol

In my opinion they are both mediocre, best car you can buy today is a Audi!

Anyway, Share Share Share!

VW Passat 2.0 SE Diesel estate. Fantastic car; practical, economical, great on the road and we have even had FOUR people and FOUR bikes inside it, although two of those were small. I got a reduction of £135 in my monthly car tax when I went over to this new model against the old B6 thanks to the lower CO2. I didn't order black though; the dealer did that by mistake and I didn't want to wait another 3 months for the right dark blue.

My current vehicle is a 1997 Toyota Hiace like this but no rear window:

It loads 4m3 capacity and up to about 1.25 tonnes or several bikes. Cruises at 72mph, 0-60 yes, fuel abt 32 mpg.

Steel wheels with 3 hub caps and some inadvertant restyling of the body work.

Ford Focus ST 2.5 Turbo. Goes like the wind.

Brilliant car, but since I had another when I got it, and since I have been commuting by bike for the last 3 years, its 6 years old with only 31,000 on the clock.
Only goes out once a week to the shop, the rest of its life it spends in the garage. I love it, and love knowing that its in the garage mint and never used.
I do have a serious OCD problem with keeping things looing like new. So the family are only allowed water inside and sweets and food are never eaten in the car what so ever and I never leave it where I can't see it.

I need help......

Did they not give you a discount or something off/free for their cock up?

Hyundai Matrix. Cheap, spacious (you can stand a bike upright in it), reliable and comfortable. It's now coming up for nine years old, so we'll probably change it soon.

I bought a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer estate last year. Probably one of the most boring cars I've ever owned, but cheap as chips to buy, reasonably economical & hopefully very reliable  Again too boring for photos

A ten year old Astra turbo diesel, which I've had for seven years. I don't really do cars - just fridges with wheels, to me.
I chose the Astra because I could get my bike in the back with both wheels still on.
